Don Bosco provides care and shelter for street children who have fled from often violent or abusive homes, a large number of whom have turned to drugs while on the streets.
The home, in a rural part of Karnataka, is purpose built providing a safe space in which the boys can learn and play. Most of the boys attend regular local primary schools but Don Bosco also offer tuition and vocational classes, such as tailoring, driving, welding and carpentry.
